Claudia Gomez is a 15 year old, Filipina American, at McNair Academic High School who wants to advocate to other teens through art and media. Through firsthand experiences, she wishes to educate teens about the current racial, economic, and political issues in our world. She loves drawing, calligraphy, history, fashion, and hopes to affect other gen z with her advocacy.

Aarushi

Aarushi is a 15 year old high-schooler from India. She mostly dedicates her time and energy in creating designs with some head banging to her favourite songs. Having a keen interest in making a change through her art, she’s also a part of the graphic team of another youth-run organisation called The Peahce Project. She is a proud ally and supporter of various social causes such as feminism, BLM, LGBTQI+ rights and stands against islamophobia.

Casey Grace

Casey Grace Lai is a 14-year-old of Chinese, Indonesian, and Vietnamese descent currently based in Singapore. Although she enjoys a bit of everything under the sun, she’s extremely passionate about activism, Literature / History, and musical theatre. A huge fan of about any music genre out there, music is an integral part of her daily life, as are her instruments. She is highly competitive, although her proudest achievement to date is that she can sing the entirety of several Broadway musical soundtracks.

I am 16 years old and an incoming junior at Gainesville High School in Florida. I will be Junior Class President for the class of 2022, I serve in Student Government, and I am passionate about using my voice to create positive change.

Bill Chen

Bill is a 16 year old first generation Chinese American attending West Springfield High School. He is actively involved in numerous extracurriculars like Model UN, Track, and Student Council. Outside of school, Bill is a part of his county’s Human Rights Commission where he is passionate about starting initiatives to combat police brutality, mental health, and fair housing within his community. He enjoys creating artwork, playing the violin, and watching Criminal Minds in his free time.

German Chavez

Hello everyone! My name is German Chavez, I am 15 years old and I am currently a freshman in high school. I am passionate about activism and mental health. I want to always work hard and put my part in helping reform and change our cruel society as a whole. I believe that the youth will be able to change the world since we all have a similar power. The power is our wise minds and voices that we use to speak about certain problems that bother us and that we want to change.

Sage is a 16 year old junior in Howard County, MD. She spends her time drawing, painting, and participating in her community through protests, and fighting what she believes is right. She’s very passionate about art and writing, and believes that it can bring communities together, impact people into learning new things, and can change peoples opinions towards a better future.

Marinel is a Filipino American and is a high schooler from Michigan. She passionate about being involved in leadership, politics, social justice, Asian culture and a change to the world today. She enjoys singing, listening to music, being on call with her friends on discord, and also being creative. In college, she plans to be a psych major and hopes to be involved including to discover more about her own Filipino culture.

Esther Marcos is a Latina woman based in Chicago, Illinois. She is a student at Loyola University Chicago studying Advertising/Public Relations and Political Science. She enjoys outdoor activities such as running and biking, especially in the summer. Esther hopes to become a figure that advocates for the rights of underrepresented & minority communities and plans to actively educate herself on societal/humanitarian issues.
